Overview

Join us for the VIRTUAL 2020 Symposium for Primary Care Medicine!  Due to the continuing COVID-19 emergency, this year's conference will be entirely VIRTUAL allowing providers to create a flexible CME experience that works best with your needs and schedule.   This unique format lets you participate in lectures at your convenience through December 15.  Simply log in and participate from your home, office, or anywhere you are.

CME credit is not included in the resident/student rate

Cancellations/Refunds

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing (e-mail preferred - [email protected]). Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone.  A full refund will be provided if cancellation is received by November 20, 2020; cancellations received November 21-30, 2020 will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee.  No Refunds will be provided after November 30, 2020.

Credit Information

In support of improving patient care, Beaumont Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Beaumont Health is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.  

Medicine CME

Beaumont Health designates this enduring material for a maximum of 18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physician should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Beaumont Health designates this program for a maximum of 18.5 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Advance Practice Providers and Nurses Continuing Education

CME credits can be used to meet the Continuing Education requirements needed for Michigan licensure without limitation.

American Academy of Family Physicians Prescribed Credit

The AAFP has reviewed Symposium for Primary Care Medicine, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit.  Term of approval is from 12/01/2020 to 12/31/2020.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
