Overview
Join us for a full-day symposium focused on enhancing patient outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration in limb salvage. Experts from orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and podiatry will share the latest techniques and insights on managing complex limb conditions.

Objectives
  1. Describe the roles and contributions of orthopedic surgeons, vascular surgeons, plastic surgeons, and podiatrists in the management of complex limb salvage cases, and how collaboration among these specialties enhances patient outcomes.
  2. Apply advanced surgical techniques from multiple specialties, including microvascular, orthopedic, and reconstructive procedures, to improve limb salvage success rates and reduce complications such as infection and amputation.
  3. Develop strategies to implement evidence-based postoperative care protocols that integrate input from various specialties to minimize complications, improve healing times, and enhance overall patient recovery in limb salvage cases.
