Objectives
  1. Discuss the benefits of SGLT2I and GLP1-RA in treating Type 2 Diabetes.
  2. Recall when it is appropriate to prescribe these medications to patients.
  3. Recognize potential challenges in prescribing these medications.

Registration

There is no fee for this module, however, registration is required.  If you don't already have a profile in the CE portal you will need to create one during the registration process.  Click on the Register tab, complete the prompts in the registration screens and click Finish.  Click on the activity link at the bottom the confirmation window to return to the module (a direct link to the module is also provided in the registration confirmation email).

Instructions for Completion

  • After registering, click on the Begin Activity tab and then click Launch Video.
  • Upon completion of the video, close that window and click on the Attestation button, complete then click on Show Results.
  • Next click on Complete Evaluation, submit and receive credit.

For any reason, if you are not automatically redirected to the evaluation after completing the attestation, click on the orange My CME button, then Evaluations & Certificates to complete the evaluation and claim credit for this module.

Medicine CME: Beaumont Health designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing CE: Beaumont Health designates this activity for a maximum of 1.25 ANCC contact hours.  Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
