Overview
This educational activity will offer the primary care clinician practical approaches to the management of contemporary issues encountered in today's clinical populations. 

Target Audience
Specialties - Family Medicine and Community Health, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics

Objectives
  1. Recognize, evaluate and treat the following conditions: heart failure, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, asthma/COPD, frequently encountered psychiatric conditions, common musculoskeletal disorders in adolescents and adults, GU dysfunction, and infectious diseases according to evidence-based guidelines.
  2. Assess and improve cardiovascular risk in diabetic patients and preoperative patients.
  3. Recognize the role of integrative medicine approaches to pain management.
  4. Identify and recognize the specific needs LGBTQIA patients may have.
  5. Recognize risks of sudden cardiac death in the young athlete.
  6. Utilize strategies for teaching medical students and residents in the office setting.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.  REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DONE ON-SITE AT THE EVENT.  PLEASE NOTE:  CASH CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

Online registration will remain open through April 23.  After this date all registrations should be done on-site on the day of the event.  Cancellations or refund requests must be received by April 19, 2019.  A processing fee of $25 will be assessed to all cancelled registrations.
