Thank you for your interest in applying for continuing education (CE) credits from Corewell Health Southeast Michigan.  To help you with your planning process and ensure the activity is planned in accordance with the Criteria, Standards, Policies, and Regulations for Accredited Continuing Education, we have developed several forms and tools.

Timelines

  • In order to allow enough time for planning, documentation and promotion of the activity, CME/CE application materials* must be submitted to the CME department according to the following schedule.

Course/Workshop/Training (in-person or virtual)

  • Internal (Corewell Health audience only): 6 weeks prior to the meeting date
  • External (Corewell Health + non-Corewell Health audience or non-Corewell Health audience only): 12 weeks prior to the meeting date

Regularly Scheduled Series (grand rounds, tumor boards, M&M, etc.) [available for Corewell Health departments only]

  •  3 weeks prior to the first meeting in which credit will be offered

On Demand Module

  •  6 weeks prior to the expected release date

*Application materials include the completed CME/CE application with full agenda and faculty list (no TBD), completed disclosures for planning committee members, and a preliminary budget (if the activity will incur expenses or receive income). Late submissions may result in an additional rush fee or the request may be declined.

An application must be submitted and approved by CME before any mention of CE credits can be made on marketing materials.
