Nursing Research/Evidence Based Practice Conference 2021

This conference will review evidence-based competencies and their impact on quality, safety and patient outcomes as well as how nurse leaders can effectively build a culture that supports EBP in the clinical environment.

This conference is restricted to Beaumont/OUWB providers and employees only.

1. Review strategies for honoring patient wishes at end of life.
2. Discuss strategies for applying evidence based practices into the clinical practice environment.
3. Identify novel techniques for testing during a pandemic.

In support of improving patient care, Beaumont Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Medicine CME: Beaumont Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Nursing CE: Beaumont Health designates this activity for a maximum of 2.5 ANCC contact hours.  Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Pharmacist CE: Beaumont Health designates this activity for 2.5 ACPE contact hours. ACPE Universal Activity Number (UAN): JA4008259-0000-21-073-L05-P.  Pharmacists should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  Credit will be uploaded to the NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion.  Per ACPE rules, Beaumont Health does not have access nor the ability to upload credits requested after the evaluation closes.  It is the responsibility of the pharmacist to provide the correct information (NABP ID and DOB (MMDD) in order to receive credit.

Social Work CE:  As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Beaumont Health is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Beaumont Health maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 2.5 continuing education credits.
