The Motivational Interviewing - Risk Assessment course will provide education, activities, and resources to enhance your skills in identifying and counseling adolescents on their risky behaviors.

1. Identify adolescent risks/strengths and their impact to health outcomes.
2. Identify appropriate motivational interviewing strategies to promote behavior change specific to adolescent developmental stage and stage of behavior change.
3. Discuss how to apply motivational interviewing strategies into client interactions.
4. Discuss strategies for eliciting change talk.
5. Describe motivational interviewing integrity.
