Race/Ethnicity, Medicine and the Structural Accumulation of Disadvantage

This module will discuss key historical events that influence contemporary relationships between race and medicine in the United States and review the different social forces that produce social disparities.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), CME Non-Physician (Attendance) (1.00 hours), Medical Ethics Credit (1.00 hours)

This module is free for Beaumont and OUWB providers, faculty, and staff.  

For non-Beaumont/non-OUWB individuals, the cost is $25.

Instructions for Beaumont Health Employees, Providers, and Staff

2. Return to begin activity and click Launch Video
3. Beaumont Employees: Click on Authenticate - if you are already logged into a Beaumont computer using your Beaumont network login, you will be automatically logged into the video system.  If you are at home or another off-site location, you must enter your Beaumont network login (what you use to access Beaumont's email and/or Epic system).
4. Non-Employees: enter first name, last name, and email address where prompted.
5. Upon completion of the video, return to Begin Activity to complete a brief post-test and evaluation to receive credit.
