Overview

Practical and Progressive Updates in Primary Care Medicine is an entirely ON DEMAND event allowing providers to create a flexible CME experience that works best with your needs and schedule. This unique format lets you view pre-recorded lectures at your convenience during the designated conference time. Simply log in and participate from your home, office, or anywhere you are from March 14 through May 12.

This educational activity will offer the primary care clinician practical approaches to the management of contemporary issues encountered in today's clinical populations. The conference has been designed to offer options for the participants to obtain information most relevant to their individual practices. Throughout the allotted time frame, and at their convenience, participants will have the opportunity to become updated on current evidence-based guidelines and focus on practice- based learning and improvement.

This conference is available for on-demand viewing from 12:00 a.m. Friday, March 14 through 11:59 p.m. Monday, May 12.

Objectives
  1. Recognize, evaluate and treat (with evidence-based guidelines)common conditions such as diabetes, cough, vaginitis, infectious disease, depression, heart failure, IBS, food allergy, rheumatological diseases, and overuse injuries.
  2. Manage common urgent care presentations.
  3. Incorporate strategies to improve efficiency in the office.
  4. Contemplate approaches to ethics in clinical care.

+Resident/Fellow/Student Rate does NOT include CME credit. To receive credit, you must register at the physician or non-physician rate.

Cancellation Policy: Registrations must be cancelled by 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13 to receive a refund less a $25 administrative processing fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

Medicine CME: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this enduring material for a maximum of 12.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing CE: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this activity for a maximum of 12.25 ANCC contact hours.  Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
