Advance Microsurgery Workshop 2025

Corewell Health East's Microvascular Surgery Skills Training Course is a five-day program focused on advanced skill development in the use of microvascular surgical techniques. The training is limited to TWO attendees per session, allowing each attendee to receive extensive, individualized training. The instruction incorporates demonstrations, microvascular skills practice and detailed handouts.

The "Advanced" workshop builds on the skills learned in the basic workshop and incorporates more difficult scenarios in the day-to-day training, including end-to-side anastomosis, carotid artery bypass, sciatic nerve repair, free-flap-in-situ, and more!  Completion of the "Basic" workshop is required in order to register for the "Advanced" workshop.

1. Review techniques and provide opportunities to strengthen and upgrade microsurgery skills.
2. Discuss principal skills that make up good microsurgical technique.
3. Demonstrate skills necessary to complete various microsurgical techniques.

Advanced Course: Corewell Health Provider $1,500 per participant / Non-Corewell Health Provider $2,500 per participant

The registration fee includes tuition and training materials. Accommodations will be made for lunch. Space is currently limited to two participants per course. A letter of confirmation will be sent upon receipt of payment and completed registration form.  

Cancellation Policy: Registration fees will be refunded, less a $275 cancellation fee, if the cancellation is submitted in writing to [email protected] at least 7 days prior to the workshop date.  Registration cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the workshop date will not be refunded. 

Corewell Health reserves the right to cancel or postpone any workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.  In the unlikely event the workshop must be canceled or postponed, the full registration fee will be refunded; Corewell Health is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline/travel/lodging agencies.
