Rapid Response Team Conference 2023

The RRT is comprised of both novice and expert clinicians whose education backgrounds differ. There is a lack of knowledge in both early recognition and decision making processes of certain medical emergencies, partly due to the complexity of the patients. The RRT team members must rely on multidisciplinary clinical reasoning to determine the best course of action for each individual patient scenario.

This conference is open to Corewell Health East providers and staff only. 

1. Describe management of acute abdominal pain
2. Describe management of acute non-arrest arrhythmias
3. Describe management of acute respiratory failure
4. Integrate sepsis updates into clinical pracctice
5. Discuss ethical considerations & end of life issues
6. Review substance disorders management and treatment
